Darshaun McAway was born on December 17, 1982 in Harvey, Illinois. For several years McAway worked as a freelance writer for Brickwall Magazine out of New York. As a Poet, Author, and Motivational speaker. McAway distinguishes himself by not only addressing relatable life experiences, but the victory over them. McAway has published six poetry books independently, and two fiction books as well. Now he's focusing on a self help series, called "The City of Heartbreak".
